National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April since 1958. This year the theme is "Connect With Your Library." In conjunction with Library Week, and Spring Break, we also plan to offer a Hidden Temple Escape Room. The theme is loosely based on Nickelodeon's Secrets of the Hidden Temple game show. Participants are presented with a variety of puzzles and locks which they must solve and open to navigate through the temple. We will offer appointment times throughout the week. This event is targeted for youth, but adult groups are also encouraged to participate. Appointments will be limited to small or single family groups, since social distance will not be an option once inside the escape room. Masks and other COVID protocols may be required.
